Archetypes and Dating

Posted on | March 30, 2009 |

Yes, I know this isn’t the usual post, but then I’m not doing usual things all the time, am I?

Laura Warrell, founder of The Man Panel open discussion events, has asked me to be a sort of special envoy to the dating world for her April 24th meeting. My aim is to tempt people to look at their dating lives, or lack thereof, in terms of archetypes so that they can break free of the repeated and unsuccessful actions we all tend to slip into from time to time.

I’m looking forward to it, and not just because I’ll be in a room with about a hundred twenty- and thirty year-old women who (obviously) won’t have a date that Friday night.

My hope is that the idea of archetypes, and ‘The Six Archetypes of Love’, can help even just a few people to break free and find real happiness - a happiness that is so often just under their noses, if only they could see it.

Check out Laura’s site to get directions to the venue. See you there. It starts at 7pm.
